Information about services for passengers with hidden disabilities at Heydar Aliyev International Airport:
- Passengers with hidden disabilities, their legal representatives (guardians, parents, caregivers) accompanying or travelling with them during departure at Terminal 1 of Heydar Aliyev International Airport shall present a special card belonging to the passengers with hidden disabilities provided by the “Joint and Healthy” Public Union to the employee of “VIP Aviation Services Company” at the “Salam Servis" desk at the entrances of A and B zones of Terminal 1. An employee of “VIP Aviation Services Company” identifies a passenger with hidden disability by checking the relevant documents and provides the passenger with a special hanger (Lanyard).
- Passengers with hidden disabilities, their legal representatives (guardians, parents, caregivers) accompanying or travelling with them during departure at Terminal 2 of Heydar Aliyev International Airport shall present a special card belonging to the passengers with hidden disabilities provided by the “Joint and Healthy” Public Union to the Information Service Desk Officer of GHC branch of “Aviation Services Group” Company, which provides services at the entrances of the south and north parts of the airport complex located on the 1st floor of Terminal 2. The employee identifies a passenger with hidden disability by checking the relevant documents and provides the passenger with a special hanger (Lanyard).
- Passengers with hidden disabilities on flights arriving at Heydar Aliyev International Airport Terminal 1 should approach the ASAN VISA Service stand according to the appropriate signs (roll-up) installed in the Airport complex. The employee of ASAN VISA Service asks the passenger for the special card provided by the “Joint and Healthy” Public Union belonging to the passenger with hidden disability and identifies the passenger with hidden disability by carrying out checks and provides the passenger with a special hanger (Lanyard).
A special hanger (Lanyard) allows the identification of a passenger with hidden disability by the employees of the relevant services operating at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport (Customs and Border Services, Aviation Security Service, employees of the GHC branch of “Aviation Services Group” Company).
Employees of the relevant services at Heydar Aliyev International Airport identify passengers with Lanyards and during pre-flight/post-flight procedures arrange passport and visa control, customs inspection, aviation security inspection and border crossing on a general basis out of line and at separate counters.
