Getting to the Airport (Domestic departures)

Heydar Aliyev International Airport is located approximately 20 km east of central Baku. Passengers travelling on domestic flights are advised to proceed to Terminal 2 South, which serves domestic departures.

Terminal information

  • Domestic flights operate from Terminal 2 South.
  • Passengers should check flight information displays and follow airport signage upon arrival.

Arriving with your own car (including rental cars)

Passengers arriving by private or rental car should follow road signage and colour-coded lane markings leading to Terminal 2.

  • Short-term and long-term parking facilities are available near Terminal 2.
  • Luggage trolleys are available in parking areas. Please follow designated signage to locate trolley points.

Being dropped off by family, friends, taxi, or ridesharing services

Passengers may be dropped off by family members, friends, licensed taxis, or ridesharing services (Uber, Bolt, Yango) at the designated drop-off areas in front of Terminal 2.

  • Drop-off is available on both the ground floor and the second level.
  • Luggage trolleys are available in parking areas. Please follow designated signage to locate trolley points.
  • Please follow airport signage to access terminal entrances safely and efficiently.

Arriving with AeroExpress

The AeroExpress provides regular bus service between the city and the airport.

  • City departure point: 28 May area
  • Intermediate stop: Koroğlu Transport Hub

Passengers should refer to the AeroExpress schedule and route map for accurate departure times and pick-up locations.

  • Terminal 2: Aero Express drop-off is located on the second level.

After drop-off, follow airport signage to reach the terminal entrance.

Luggage trolleys are available in kerbside areas. Please follow designated signage to locate trolley points.

Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport in advance of their scheduled departure time and confirm terminal information with their airline.
